August 2008 – Good For Texas Sweepstakes

The TXU Energy Good For Texas Sweepstakes demonstrated our commitment to helping customers save energy every day. The sweepstakes featured a 2009 Chevy Tahoe Hybrid as a Grand Prize, a Solar Panel System as a First Prize and numerous daily and weekly prizes.

July 2008 – Power Saver Challenge

The TXU Energy Power Saver Challenge showcased three Texas semi-finalist families as they made energy efficiency improvements to their homes in hopes of winning the Grand Prize of $30,000! TXU Energy provided each of the semi-finalists with $5,000 cash, energy audits and energy-efficiency equipment to help them in their quest. March 2008 – Win A Million Airline Miles Sweepstakes

The TXU Energy Win A Million Airline Miles Sweepstakes Grand Prize Winner is Jeff Urbina.

As the Grand Prize Winner, Mr. Urbina received 40 coach class round trip tickets that he can use to travel anywhere in the 48 contiguous United States. Another 20 lucky people won 25,000 airline miles as part of the TXU Energy Win A Million Airline Miles Sweepstakes.

October 2007 – Keys To Savings Sweepstakes

TXU Energy was the title sponsor of the 2nd annual Houston Independent School District “Winter Fest” in December 2007. TXU Energy gave away the keys to a new 300HP Twin Turbo BMW 335i to Maria Guevara of Houston, the Grand Prize Winner in the Keys To Savings Sweepstakes.
