Q. Do I have to switch to, or be a customer of, TXU Energy to participate in the sweepstakes?

A. No. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase your chance of winning.

Q. How do I enter the sweepstakes?

A. The TXU Energy Good for Texas Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) starts at 12:00:01 a.m. CT on August 26, 2008, and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. CT on November 5, 2008 (the "Promotion Period"). All persons who become new TXU Energy residential electric service customers during the Promotion Period will automatically receive one entry into the Sweepstakes.

In addition, current TXU Energy customers who take any of the following actions during the Promotion Period will automatically receive one entry into the Sweepstakes for each action taken:

• Current TXU Energy FlexProtect^SM residential customers in the Oncor Electric Delivery service territory who change to a different TXU Energy plan.
• Current TXU Energy Freedom Plan^SM residential customers outside of the Oncor Electric Delivery service territory who change to a different TXU Energy plan.
• Current TXU Energy customers who enroll in the TXU Energy Rewards+® program.
• Current TXU Energy customers who redeem TXU Energy Rewards+ Dollars for service or merchandise.
• Current TXU Energy customers who enroll in the TXU Energy Refer-a-Friend^SM program.
• Current TXU Energy customers who sign up for TXU Energy E-Bill.
• Current TXU Energy customers who sign up for TXU Energy Average Billing.

TO ENTER WITHOUT PURCHASE OR OBLIGATION: To enter the Sweepstakes without becoming a TXU Energy customer, changing your current TXU Energy plan, or taking any of the other actions above, visit www.txu.com/goodfortexas during the Promotion Period and complete the online registration form. Online entries must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. CT on November 5, 2008. Limit one (1) entry per household per day from all methods of entry combined.

Q. What are the prizes that you are giving away?

A. One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive a 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid. The Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of this prize is $47,018. One (1) First Prize Winner will receive a 2 kW Solar PV Panel System (including installation) from Standard Renewable Energy. In the event that the First Prize Winner lives in multifamily housing or lives in a home that has bona fide restrictions against installation of solar panels, then an alternative prize or other energy products offered by Standard Renewable Energy or a cash prize will be awarded. The Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of the First Prize is $18,000. Six (6) Weekly Prize Winners will each receive a $575 Gift Card from Lowe’s. Five (5) Weekly Prize Winners will each receive a $500 Bill Credit from TXU Energy. Seventy-two (72) Daily Prize Winners will each receive a 10-Pack of Compact Fluorescent Light bulbs with an ARV of $19.95 each.

Q. How many times may I enter?

A. Limit one (1) entry per household per day from all methods of entry.

Q. What is the timing of the promotion?

A. The sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 a.m. CT on August 26, 2008 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. CT on November 5, 2008

Q. Who is eligible to enter?

A. The sweepstakes is open to legal residents of Texas who are 18 years of age and older as of August 25, 2008. Employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives of TXU Energy Retail Company LLC (“Sponsor”) and each of their parent companies, respective subsidiaries and affiliates of TXU Energy, its advertising/promotional agencies, and its prize suppliers, and the immediate families (spouse, siblings, parents, children and their respective spouses) and household members of such persons are not eligible to win.

Q. How and when will prize winners be chosen?

A. Winners will be selected by random drawings conducted on or about December 1, 2008, by Prism Marketing, whose decision is final in all matters. Daily and Weekly Prize drawings will be conducted from the pool of eligible entries received for each respective day or week of the Sweepstakes. Winning entries from one Daily or Weekly Prize drawing will not be included in subsequent Daily or Weekly Prize drawings. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received by entry deadline. Limit one Daily or Weekly Prize per household.

Q. Do I need to be present to win?

A. No. Potential winners will be notified by telephone or e-mail within approximately five business days of conclusion of the Sweepstakes drawing. Potential winners will be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and a liability/publicity release to receive their prize, or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. Daily Prize Winners will be automatically shipped their prize.

Q. What are my responsibilities if I win the Grand Prize 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid?

A. The Grand Prize vehicle will be delivered with the standard base model package. The prize vehicle color is subject to availability. The Grand Prize Winner is solely responsible for any expenses in connection with the vehicle not expressly described herein as being awarded, including the following: 1) all taxes, including income, federal, state and local taxes; 2) vehicle sales tax, title and license; 3) insurance, registration fees, delivery charges, dealer preparation fee and/or additional options, additions or equipment; and 4) any additional expenses not described in the Official Rules as being awarded.

Q. What other requirements are there for the Grand Prize Winner?

A. The Grand Prize Winner must have a valid U.S. Driver’s License and Proof of Insurance to take delivery. Winner must take delivery of vehicle at a time, place and date to be determined by Sponsor and may be required to execute additional release(s) required by Sponsor.

Q. Can I redeem my prize for cash or transfer it to someone else?

A. Prizes may not be substituted, transferred or redeemed for cash except as described in the Official Rules, or at the sole discretion of Sponsor. In case of unavailability, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
