Q. What is TXU Energy’s Energy Fit Club?
A. TXU Energy’s Energy Fit Club is a unique program created to help people set and track their personal energy-efficiency goals. The club gives members a one-of-a-kind online tool that’s fun, easy to use and informative.
Q. Do I have to switch to, or be a customer of, TXU Energy to be an Energy Fit Club member?
A. No. No purchase or obligation is required to become a member. However, Energy Fit Club members who are also TXU Energy customers may be eligible to receive exclusive offers and additional benefits.
Q. What are the benefits of joining TXU Energy’s Energy Fit Club?
A. TXU Energy customers and non-customers who join TXU Energy’s Energy Fit Club will be able to download a one-of-a-kind computer application – also called a “widget” – to set and track their personal energy fitness goals. In addition they can receive ongoing information and tips on becoming more energy fit. Also, joining the club before April 30, 2009 gives members one (1) automatic entry in TXU Energy’s Get Energy Fit Now! Sweepstakes. (Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the State of Texas 18 years of age and older as of January 25, 2009.)
Q. What is a widget? What does the TXU Energy widget do?
A. A widget is a downloadable computer application that can be personalized. The TXU Energy widget allows users to set goals for energy conservation and helps remind them of those goals so they can achieve more efficient energy usage.
Q. Why is TXU Energy offering an Energy Fit Club?
A. TXU Energy is committed to helping our customers – and all Texans – use less electricity. We’ve created the Energy Fit Club as a fun, easy-to-use and informative resource for managing energy usage.
Q. How long will TXU Energy’s Energy Fit Club program last?
A. The Energy Fit Club is an ongoing program that will continue to provide new information and benefits to members. We do not have an end date for this program.
Q. Will there be additional benefits for membership?
A. As a component of this club, TXU Energy will continue to provide members with exclusive tips, information and offers.
Q. How can I enter the Sweepstakes if I do not have access to the Internet?
A. Non-customers and TXU Energy customers may also enter without any purchase, obligation or enrollment by entering online at txu.com/energyfit by 11:59:59 p.m. CT on April 30, 2009 or by mail, subject to the limit of three (3) Sweepstakes entries per household by all methods of entry combined. To enter by mail hand-print or type your name, address, email address (if you have one), age and phone number on a postcard no larger than 4x6 inches and mail via first-class mail to: Get Energy Fit Now! Sweepstakes, PO Box 2142, Coppell, Texas 75019. Mail entries must be postmarked by April 30, 2009 and received no later than May 5, 2009. Mechanically reproduced and postage-due entries will not be accepted. Each postcard entry must be mailed separately and must not be in an envelope.

Q. What prizes are you giving away?
A. One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive $5,000 cash. One hundred (100) First Prize winners will each receive an Electric EcoKit with an Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of $20 each. The total ARV of all prizes is $7,000.
Q. What is in the Electric EcoKit?
A. The Elelctric EcoKit contains:
- Refrigerator Thermometer w magnetic or adhesive mounting for refrigerator or freezer
